English & Sailing
Here is a typical programme which will give you an idea of what you can expect. You can choose some of the activities yourself. The activities available vary from week to week.
All the costs of the programme are included in the course price.
Sunday
Arrival at Heathrow. Our leaders will meet you and bring you on our coach to Weymouth, where we will introduce you to your host family.

Our leaders will take you to the sailing academy. The instructors will give you important safety information. They will put you into a course of the right level, then you will learn some theory, then you will get a wetsuit and have your first practical lesson in a boat on the water.

If you are returning home today, our leaders will take you to the airport and help you check in for your return flight, otherwise you can choose from
- a day trip to Oxford, including a sightseeing tour and punting on the river or
- a day trip to Winchester, ancient capital of England and seat of King Alfred the Great. There will be a sightseeing tour, then time to look around or do some for shopping or
- a day trip to Brighton, a famous seaside town with a grand royal palace built in an Indian style. Visit "The Lanes", a popular area of small shops and alleyways.
