How do I get to Weymouth?

Flying to England

If you fly to England, it is best to book a flight to London Heathrow. We have leaders at Heathrow between 09:00 and 17:00 on each arrival day to meet you when you arrive and to take you to one of our transfer coaches. Our transfer coaches depart at 13.00 and 18.00. Your flight must arrive at least one hour earlier than the transfer departure time. One of our leaders will travel with you on the coach to Weymouth.

The journey from London Heathrow to Weymouth takes about 2 hours 45 minutes. We also run transfer coaches to London Heathrow for the return journey at the end of your course. To use these you should book a flight departing after 13.00. Transfer coaches are only available on the fixed arrival and departure days.

If you travel to any other London airport (London Stansted, London Gatwick or London City) or if you arrive at Heathrow before or after the times our leaders are at the airport, we can arrange for a private taxi to meet you on arrival and take you straight to your host family. We also offer a private taxi transfer from Bournemouth airport (please see the price list for details).

How do I book a transfer?

When we send you the confirmation of your booking we will also send you a form to complete with details of your flight. If you wish to book a place on one of our transfer coaches, or wish us to book a taxi transfer for you, you will be able to order this on the form we send you.

Can my parents bring me to England?

If your parents wish to bring you to England they can take you directly to your host family. We will send you details of where to go when we send you the course papers.
