Weymouth English Centre is a small, friendly, family-run school which was established in 2002. It is accredited by the British Council and is a member of English UK.
We run English language courses in Weymouth for young international students aged 13 to 17.
Our aim is to provide courses with quality lessons, accommodation, activities and care.
We take care to build a friendly and supportive team where everyone has an important part to play. People often say that working at WEC is like being part of a family, which is exactly how we like to work.
For our 2019 season we have the following vacancies:
"Another outstanding summer working at/with the highest quality summer school I have had the pleasure to work in in 25 years.
The amazing "community" spirit created by Chris, Kate and Ewa is truly impressive and "infects" the school with a friendly, supportive and safe atmosphere which is greatly appreciated by everyone.
I feel Ewa has the unique skill of identifying and supporting those in need, whilst allowing a degree of freedom and professional "lee-way" to her staff which further increases trust and confidence. She is also the hardest-working person with whom I have worked, but this is focused on student and staff need rather than trivia.
Kate and Chris are, quite simply, the very best - kind, friendly, helpful and with a caring attitude which supercedes all else. They ensure a wonderful, safe, friendly and positive experience for all. It is this which makes me so look forward to returning year after year."
"You gave me the opportunity to grow up and to have an open mind more than when I left Italy for the first time. Three years ago I was young and quite worried about what I had to do there, in Weymouth, if I was going to be good enough or not, lots of worries, but then when I met you and all the staff I felt at home! I always told you that what is really good in your college, for students and activity leaders, is to feel at home. We had some problems, every summer a different one, but in the end, we always did a great job.
