EFL teacher vacancies in Weymouth
Weymouth is the Weymouth English Centre's main centre for young learners aged between 13 and 17. The school is accredited by the British Council and is a member of English UK.
Courses here are seasonal. The dates for 2010 are 28th June to 6th August.
The Teaching
Lessons are held between 09:00 and 12.30 with a 30-minute break on weekday mornings.
Classes have a maximum of 15 students. Our students come from all over the world, although most are from Europe.
The lesson content depends on the level of the class, but most include grammar, writing, reading, speaking and listening skills, as well as vocabulary-building.
Weymouth English Centre organises a full programme of activities including trips to London, sports activities and outings to places of interest in the area. Our teachers accompany the students on their activities, although some teaching-only posts are available.
Requirements
A CELTA or recognised equivalent and a degree.

Remuneration
Rates start at £360 per week and depend on qualifications and experience. This includes 15 hours of teaching per week plus 20 hours of accompanying the students on some of their activities.
Assistance with accommodation will be given if required.
The successful applicant will be employed under contract and enjoy the full benefits of holiday and sick pay.
