Activity Leader vacancies in Weymouth

Weymouth is the Weymouth English Centre's main centre for young learners aged between 13 and 17.
Courses here are seasonal. The dates for 2010 are 28th June to 7th August.
We offer a full programme of activities on all our courses for young learners, with day trips to London and other places of interest, a variety of sporting activities, drama workshops, discos, beach parties and more. The programmes are planned and booked in advance where possible.

Duties

Activities leaders are responsible for ensuring that the programme runs smoothly. This includes accompanying the students on the activities and providing them with essential information.
The role also includes accompanying students to and from Heathrow, helping them to check-in and meeting new arrivals.

Requirements

An interest in working with young people, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to deal with any problems which might arise.

• We will ask in reference requests whether there is any reason that you should not be employed in situations where you have responsibility for students under 16 (if that is the case)

Remuneration

Weymouth English Centre offers very competitive rates of remuneration. The final details will depend on the hours and roles agreed. There will be a contract with holiday and sick pay.
