Christopher Hills

Chris, Director

I have been organising English language trips to England for young people since 1978 and I wouldn't want to do anything else! I am the Centre Manager in Weymouth and I look forward to meeting all the students and working together with our great team there.

Kate, Planning and Organisation

I was an English teacher for about 10 years and then took over the marketing and organisation of language trips to England. I advise students and parents and answer all their questions before they book, then I love meeting the students in Weymouth and helping them there. I like learning about other cultures, travelling and boating.

Ewa, Director of Studies

I have been working as an English teacher and a teacher trainer for many years now and I absolutely adore it. Since 2009 I have been a Director of Studies at the school in Weymouth and my role is to ensure that all our students have an educational and rewarding experience throughout their time here. In my spare time I enjoy baking, climbing and travelling.

Jennie, Accommodation Officer

In Weymouth and Portland I have been arranging student accommodation in local families for over 20 years. I love the variety and challenge of working with people from all around the world. I enjoy matching young people to local families and consider it a privilege to be a part of the friendships that develop from these placements. I love reading, nature and the arts – and travelling, of course!

Andy, Activities Manager

Hi, I’m Andy, and I have loved working with young people for longer than I would care to confess. I have taught English and EFL in a number of countries, including 3 wonderful summers as part of the WEC Family. I have also worked as an Activity Leader and Manager in summer schools in Weymouth and Salisbury. I love sports, music, hiking and to travel, and spent 3 months in 2015 scratching my mid-life itch by hitchhiking from NYC to LA.

Andrew, Teacher & Activity Leader

My name is Andrew and I have been an EFL teacher for almost 20 years - this will be my fourth year at WEC. In my free time I like watching films, playing poker, working on my computer, martial arts, and I have a great interest in financial markets and related subjects.

Tracy, Teacher & Activity Leader

Hi, I'm Tracy and I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for the past 2 years. I have spent my last year working in Spain. This will be my third year at WEC and I am very excited to be a part of the team. In my spare time I love going to concerts, learning languages, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures whilst travelling.

Hannah, Teacher & Activity Leader

Hello, I'm Hannah. I am delighted to be part of the brilliant team and to return to Weymouth and its beautiful countryside this year. I have taught in several countries in Asia and I am currently living in the south of Spain. When I am not teaching, I am outside, where I usually fill my time with climbing adventures in the hills and mountains. I also love live music, making things and learning about the world and different cultures. I am looking forward to meeting you all soon!

Eleonora, Activity Leader

Hello everybody! I'm Eleonora and this is my second year at the Weymouth English Centre. I'm from Italy. In my freetime I like reading adventure books, hanging out with friends and playing volleyball! I have got two passions: travel and animals!!! I'm enthusiastic to be part of this great experience and I think it will be wonderful!

Juliet, Teacher & Activity Leader

I've been teaching English for the last 7 years in Spain and England, and this will be my fourth year with WEC. Weymouth is a fantastic location. I am from Dorset, so coming home during the summer to do what I love with a great group of teachers and students is a privilege. In my spare time I love travelling, cooking and cycling around the countryside where I live.

Chantelle, Activity Leader

Hi, I’m Chantelle and this is my first year at Weymouth English Centre. I am currently on my gap year and intend to go to Bristol university to study Social Policy and Sociology in September. In my spare time I enjoy swimming, keeping fit and travelling. I am very much looking forward to being in Weymouth and meeting you all!

Jonathan, Teacher

I have just moved to West Dorset and I am enjoying the beautiful scenery. My interests include listening to and playing music, reading and walking. This will be my first time at the Weymouth English Centre and I'm really looking forward to meeting you all.

I love travelling and learning about different cultures and traditions. I am really looking forward to teaching this summer at Weymouth English Centre.

Sophie, Teacher & Activity Leader

Alexander, Russia

"All of them were fantastic, they were nice and friendly. They knew how to help you every time and they have taken care of me."

Beatrice, Italy

"All of them were really lovely and they look after us. The teachers also teach well and understanding."

Laura, Spain

"I want to thank you very much for organising my daughter's stay in Weymouth so conscientiously.
She had an absolutely fabulous time. When she came back, she told us that she felt well taken care of. Everybody involved was very considerate, helpful, warm-hearted and very friendly.
She felt very much at home at her host family's place, Ben and Lauren were very welcoming and interested in socialising and talking to her.
The teachers, the staff, the activity leaders and the leaders who picked her up from and took her to the airport were all very, very friendly and helpful.
We can wholeheartedly and completely recommend Weymouth English Language School to all our friends and acquaintances and I hope it will be possible for Caroline's little brother to come to Weymouth next summer."

Parent, Germany

"They are very kind and heart-warming. They are good at jobs and took care of us carefully."

Yeling, China

"Teachers and leaders are really very nice and kind people."
